Thank you for checking out the Friends of the East Troy Lions Public Library.  We hope you will join us in the efforts of sustaining our Public Library for all ages.

Who are the Friends? 

We are book lovers, information seekers, readers, listeners, music and movie buffs. We are young and old, with varying interests and backgrounds.  We treasure ideas and value the public library as a vital community resource.  We all believe the East Troy Lions Public Library stands to serve the whole community.  The Friends are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed to enhance and improve library services to its community.

Hands on Science 2nd Monday of the month  3:30 PM

Geared towards: Ages 5-18 Registration by 1st Monday of month

Series Sampler Book Club  3rd Monday of the month,    3:30 PM

Geared towards: Ages 9 - 13
Location: Lower Level

Adult Book Club 2nd Tuesday of the month  1:00 PM

                             2nd Friday of the month 1:30 pm 

Writer's Workshop 3rd Tuesday of the month, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Geared towards: Adults & Teens
Location: Lower Level

Lego Club  Every Wednesday,   3:15 PM

Teen/Tween - Open Games  First Thursday,   3:15

Bring your little ones to play with other children while you socialize with other caregivers.

The library is one block north of Main Street at the intersection of Graydon Ave. and West St

What we do:

We raise funds for variety of programs and services that benefit library users of all ages. From early childhood to adults, our programs and resources are designed to meet the needs of our community.  We also support the library's collections and facilities, helping to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed.

Membership levels:

$10.00 Annual Membership  (May 1st to April 30th) 

$100.00 Lifetime Membership

Keep in mind that the Friends’ modest annual membership fee helps support an impressive array of services that exist only due to The Friends’ funding: 

  • Educational and entertaining programs for both children and adults

  •  Summer Reading Program for children and adults 

  • Equipment as needed.

We have the book you would like to read

What the Friends fund:

  • Reading program incentives

  • Summer family performances

  • New Technology purchases that fall outside of the regular budget

In particular, the Friends provide the funds for the Explorer Passes that allow library patrons to attend places like the  Zoo and Art Museum, Wisconsin Historical Society sites, the East Troy Museum, and several other venues. ​
